Dan Jakubek appointed GIS/Map Librarian at Ryerson
Dan Jakubek has been appointed to the new position of Map and GIS Librarian at Ryerson University Library. Dan has been working as the GIS and Data Technician since January 2005. He worked on his MLIS at the University of Western Ontario part-time and has just been awarded his library degree. Dan also has a Masters in Spatial Analysis from Ryerson (2002), and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and GIS from McGill (2000). From 2002 to 2005 Dan worked in the North West Territories as a Lead GIS Specialist with the Inuvialuit Land Administration/MacKenzie Project Environmental Group.
